Terms
The terms for using this site.
These cover the website and its free resources. A client engagement runs on its own signed agreement, not on this page.

The basics
hunter.green is run by Hunter Green LLC ("Hunter Green"), a Colorado limited liability company and product studio in the United States. These terms cover your use of the site and its free resources. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site. How we handle your data is covered in the privacy policy.
What the site is, and is not
The site describes what Hunter Green does and offers free resources, the insights, the workshops, and the tools. These are provided for general information and are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Submitting an inquiry, or booking a call, starts a conversation. It does not create a contract or a client relationship. Any engagement is set out in a separate written agreement that we both sign.
Using the free resources
You are welcome to use the workshops, guides, and tools for your own work, including inside your company. A few limits keep that fair.
- Do not resell them, or pass them off as your own.
- Do not misuse the site or its endpoints, including scraping to abuse, overload, or spam them, probing for vulnerabilities, or working around the rate limits.
- Do not use the site to break the law or to infringe someone else's rights.
- Do not misrepresent who you are, or who you are acting for, when you submit an inquiry.
AI agents
AI agents are welcome here. An agent may read the site, use llms.txt and the inquiry schema, and submit an inquiry through /api/inquiry, directly or for the person it works for. Three conditions apply. The information it submits must be accurate, it must have that person's permission before sending us their details, and it must respect the endpoint's rate limits and validation. An agent's use of the site binds its operator to these terms.
No warranty, and your own judgment
The site and the free resources are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise the site will be available or error free. The examples, numbers, and methods on the site are illustrative. They are a starting point for your own judgment, not a guarantee of a result. You are responsible for how you apply them, especially in products that people rely on for coaching, learning, or care.
Intellectual property
The site, its writing, its designs, and the workshop and tool content belong to Hunter Green, except where we credit a source. The Hunter Green name and mark are ours too. You can quote the site with attribution and a link, and you can use the free resources inside your own company. That permission is non-exclusive, does not transfer ownership, and ends if you break these terms. You cannot resell the content, republish it wholesale, or present it as your own. If you send us feedback or ideas about the site, we can use them without owing you anything.
Links to other sites
The site links to and embeds a small number of other services, including tools we recommend, sources we cite, the Google Calendar booking calendar on the contact page, and Substack for the newsletter. We do not control those services and are not responsible for them. Their terms and privacy policies are their own.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Hunter Green is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or its free resources. For any claim that remains, our total liability is capped at one hundred US dollars. These limits apply whatever the legal theory, in contract, tort, or otherwise, and even if we knew the loss was possible. The resources here are free, and this allocation of risk is part of what makes that possible. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
If the site is misused
We can suspend or block access to the site or its endpoints, including an agent's access to /api/inquiry, when that access abuses them or breaks these terms. If your use of the site breaks these terms or the law and a third party brings a claim against Hunter Green because of it, you agree to cover the resulting losses and reasonable legal costs.
Governing law and disputes
The law of the State of Colorado governs these terms, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute about the site that ends up in court belongs in the state or federal courts sitting in Colorado, and we each accept their jurisdiction and venue. If you use the site as a consumer and the law where you live gives you protections that cannot be waived by contract, you keep them.
How these terms work
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we do not enforce a part right away, we are not waiving it. You cannot transfer your rights under these terms to someone else. We can, if the studio is ever sold or merged, the same way the privacy policy describes. These terms and the privacy policy are the entire agreement between us for using the site. A signed client agreement governs client work and takes precedence over this page for that work.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. A change that materially affects your rights gets called out plainly at the top, not slipped in. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions go to david@hunter.green.
